Nada melhor para inaugurar esta nova secção do nosso fórum do que uma série de vídeos sobre o mundo das Arcades.

Para tal iremos colocar cá os vídeos feitos pelos Arcade Hunters .

Part 1 of 5

In this episode we investigate a Japanese Arcade that is located in Winchendon Massachusetts called Tokyo Game Action. TGA is an amazing arcade and worth checking out!

In part two, Andy shows off the Bemani game room. This room houses one of the best collection of music games we've ever seen.

Games like Beatmania IIDX Troopers, Taiko no Tatsujin 11 and of course DDR.

Part 3 of 5

In this part, Andy shows off more games in the Bemani room including a rare game called Shamisen Brothers.

Also included is a small snack break at TGA's awesome food counter where they serve up some great homemade Japanese food.

Part 4 of 5

Here is the fourth part of our investigation of Tokyo Game Action.

In this part, Andy takes us on a tour of the fighting game room. Games include, Street Fighter 3 Third Stirke, Melty Blood, King of Fighters XI and of course, Marvel vs Capcom 2. (CURLY MUSTACHE!)

TGA will host their Street Fighter IV weekend on September 25-28th!

In the final part of our Tokyo Game Action tour, we conclude with a small montage of the games in action and finally, our final thoughts.

Here is our second investigation of "8 on the Break," an amazing arcade located in Dunellen NJ.

Este salão já é mais pequeno e a meu ver um bocado apertado para nós Europeus, por isso nem quero pensar como será para os Americanos que são muito... vá gostam da filosofia do living large .

Sorry for the late update, to make up for it we got 3 episodes for ya! This episode is the first of our "3 Arcades in One Day" trilogy. We hit up Nassau County on Long Island, NY pretty hard by checking out 3 lesser known Arcades. The first one is located in the basement of the Tri-County Flea Market. They have a nice "rare treat" that is worth the trip alone.

Nathans use to be an amazing arcade with a row of 5+ pinball machines, a nice row of classic games, some rare gems, and some current games. You use to be able to go to Nathans Fun City and spend a whole evening eating classic Nathans hot dogs and playing old school video games, but now....

Here is another investigation we did over the summer. Richie Knucklez (www.RichieKnucklez.com) is an amazing place located in Flemington NJ.
To sum it up, Richie Knucklez restores classic arcade games, customizes classic arcade games, and sells them from his amazing showroom.
His restored games are simply AMAZING.
Now besides being an arcade showroom, every Friday nigh Richie dims the lights and opens the doors for FLASHBACK FRIDAYS.
Friday night, 6-10 pm, 10 bucks, all you can play. Thats right every game is set on free play.
Well worth any trip to check out these games and play some true classics, especially BABY PAC-MAN and friggin' LAZER GHOSTS!!!

Neste salão encontramos várias raridades bem interessantes.
Também temos 4 máquinas de pinball (logo no início) e mais uma Baby Pac-Man (tempo 05:06) que é uma máquina com uma parte arcade e outra pinball.
Sem dúvida uma máquina rara de se encontrar e sobretudo de ver a funcionar .

Part 1 of 2

Castle Video is one of the best pinball arcade/video store/book store/U-haul/self storage places ever. The owner, Captain Kirk, takes great care of his business and pinball tables.

Part 1 of 3 - Penny Arcade

Episode 8 of Arcade Hunters is finally here on Youtube! It's a huge three part episode of the arcades of the Weirs Beach Pier! As was said in the video, this footage was shot in the summer of 2008, but many of the games you'll see in all three videos are still there so if you plan on going up this summer you will see all of the games there.

The first arcade we visit is simply called "Penny Arcade" The Penny Arcade has a nice selection of newer and classic games, redemption games and pinball. Some games to notice are the full motion Turbo Outrun and a couple of old style shooting gallery games.

Sorry this took so long to get here. 2600 is a full time teacher and he suffered not one but two hard drive failures so it took us a while to get the new episodes out. Part two will be up very soon with a look at the next arcade "The Half Moon"

Here's the final part of the 8th episode of Arcade Hunters. This episode we take a look at the Winnipesaukee Pier arcade.

This episode ends with a bit of a text rant from 2600, I will have a video up soon to make clear what we meant by everything.

Here is a short Arcade Hunters episode we shot at an arcade that we found in a hotel we were staying at!
While visiting New Hampshire to investigate other arcades, we stumbled on an arcade at the Holiday Inn Express in Springfield, Vermont.
We had to shoot footage of it, regardless of it being 1 in the morning.
The funny thing is, this hotel has one of the best conditioned Twilight Zone we have ever played (only beaten by Captain Kirk's Twilight Zone located at Castle Video in NJ).

Here is a brand new Arcade Hunters Episode that was shot at Richie Knucklez in Flemington, NJ. Richie Knucklez runs a great arcade showroom. His restorations are immaculate.
Richie also turns his showroom every Friday into a classic arcade for a weekly event he calls "Flashback Fridays." 10 bucks, all you can play from 6-10pm. Be sure to check out part 2 for the conclusion.
